Good afternoon CHA community

This email is to inform you that all Canterbury Hockey matches schedule between this Saturday 21 and Tuesday 24 August have been suspended.

This also includes any training sessions, as all hockey turfs will be CLOSED during this period (until at least Tuesday 24 August @ 11.59pm).

Following the Government’s move to Alert Level 4 for the country, and now with the growing number of COVID-19 community cases and uncertainty this has created, this decision makes sense for our community and our safety.

The CHA team is committed to completing all outstanding fixtures where possible.

Following the communication to come from our government around the pending changes to the country’s Alert Levels, a decision will be made on the future and timing of all outstanding matches, tournaments and programmes.

Please stay safe and look out for further updates from the CHA team early next week.
