The club subs do not fully cover the cost of Canterbury Hockey costs and turf hire costs for training. The money that is received from successful grant applications, fundraising and sponsorship that allows us to subsidise the cost of subs for our players. All the uniforms, goalie gear, coaches’ gifts and admin is paid for by the club which the club gets this money from grants and sponsorship. All the committee members are volunteers and do not receive any payments from the club.
