On a hot Canterbury day in January our George Enersen worked with several of our Senior and Intermediate Goal Keepers. Holly Smith reports back on her experience
I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to do some training with George Enerson, the men's black sticks goalie. We learnt loads of new skills. I have better positioning in the goal now and he reinforced how important the basics were with us. It was fun to learn from one of our countries best goalies and he was really relaxed which made it fun too. So much thanks to George for giving up his time, Pat Barwick and Tony Shaw for organising this and to the Reddos club for their support with the turfs.
