Premier Men & Div 1 Men named for 2020
We are pleased to announce the Premier and Div 1 Men's teams for 2020.
The Div 1 Men head into the season as defending champions, with Dean Munt back at the helm as player/coach. He is again joined by the experience of ex-Premier players Simon Munt, Chris Greenshields and Sam Kumbaroff, while Mark Coleman rejoins the side after a two year sabbatical in the Mid Week side.
Added in with this experience is a strong youthful presence, with Ollie King and Liam Adams back in the team, while Eshan Patel and Fergus Lowen are promoted into the side.
The Premier Men welcome back Black Stick George Enersen to the side, who is Christchurch based after three years in Auckland. While he is still bound by national squad commitments, his presence will be a major boost to the side who last won in 2016 during Enersen's last full season.
Nick Lidstone is back from injury enforced year off in 2019, while Andrew Dunbar makes a welcome return after a two year absence working in Canada.
The team also includes three sets of brothers, while Keryn Ambler comes on board as coach of the side.
Congratulations to all those selected, and good luck for the season ahead.
