Year 7/8 Trials:
Year 7 & 8 teams will be allocated based on trials. Please note that the CHA rules have changed for the 2021 season following Hockey New Zealand recommendations, and all year 7’s will play 7 a-side. Year 8’s are encouraged to play 7 a-side, but can play 11 a side in 2021, changing to 7 a-side in 2022. The decision whether the year 8’s will be playing 7 or 11 a-side this year will be made by the club once we have confirmed numbers. Year 5/6 team allocations:
Year 5/6 players will have training sessions followed by a mini game on the following two dates to aid with the team allocations. Please note year 5/6 team allocations are not trialled, team allocations will be determined by the coaches and will be friendship based where practical.

Academy: Reddos Junior Hockey Skills Clinic 2021 Registrations
The Reddos Junior Skills Clinic is back in 2021! This year we are again offering skills clinics for our year 3-8, and our platinum players. This year we will be offering one pre-season clinic, with two further clinics held during the season. These clinics will be run by our experienced Carlton Redcliffs coaches who include several former Black Sticks and Canterbury representatives. The clinics will offer a progression of skills throughout the season.
